State Offices

Alabamians are represented by constitutional officers in the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches of state government.

In the Legislative Branch, Alabamians are represented by 35 members in the Senate and 105 members in the House of Representatives. Senators and Representatives serve four-year terms. Check out the web sites for the Alabama Senate and House of Representatives.

In the Executive Branch, seven offices are elected statewide to four-year terms: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary Of State, Treasurer, Auditor, and the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries.
