MONTGOMERY – During the April 12, 2016 runoff elections, the Secretary of State’s
Office had 100% reporting from the 22 counties with races for state offices.
The races reported were as
follows: State Board of Education Member District 1; State Board of Education
Member District 7; Circuit Court Judge, 10th Judicial Circuit, Place
11; Circuit Court Judge, 10th Judicial Circuit, Place 25; Circuit
County Judge, 18th Judicial Circuit, Place 4 and District Attorney,
20th Judicial Circuit.
The counties that reported were as
follows: Baldwin, Butler, Colbert, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Escambia, Fayette,
Franklin, Henry, Houston, Jefferson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Marion,
Mobile, Shelby, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston.
“We are excited to announce that
we had 100 percent participation in our election night reporting efforts conducted
yesterday,” said Secretary of State John Merrill. “Our continued effort to
provide this election information to Alabama’s citizens would not have been
possible without everyone’s full support and outstanding leadership
demonstrated by our Probate Judges and local election officials!”
